This area is best known for Lincoln Avenue shopping/dining district, located between Minnesota and Willow Streets, called "The Avenue" by locals, and for it's distinctively styled homes. Willow Glen is sandwiched between Campbell, Blossom Valley, and Downtown San Jose. This area has many nice homes like the one seen here.
Almaden Valley is well known for its distinctive homes and exceptional elementary, middle, and high schools. This prestigous community features features two exquisite, private golf clubs, the Almaden Golf and Country Club and The Club at Boulder Ridge. Almaden Valley is a true destination located in a quiet corner of San Jose.
The Cambrian area is surrounded by Los Gatos, Campbell, Willow Glen and Blossom Valley. Cambrian offers more moderately priced homes and is conveniently located near many commuter routes, including San Tomas Expressway, and Hwys 17, 85, and 87. There are lots of family activity options, and a farmers market in the Cambrian Park Shopping Center.
The Alum Rock area of San Jose (also known as East Valley) offers a wide variety of homes, from 1 bedroom starter homes to multi-million dollar homes in the east foothills. This community is named after Alum Rock county park, which offers large picnic areas and challenging hiking trails. Light Rail and Hwy 680 make the Alum Rock community a convenient commuter location.
Downtown San Jose offers homes from 100+ year old distinctive Victorian-style homes to modern, high-rise condos. Downtown San Jose is the hub of Silicon Valley, and offers a thriving business community and San Jose State University, with highly recognized engineering, business, and nursing programs, among others. The Rose Garden region is located near the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, a year round festival of color!
